What is personal identity? The task was creating a book of a person in a fixed size (210x280mm) and also two posters that show two different sides of personality. I chose Norman for that project, an old friend of mine. The most significant thing about him seemed to me his creative side in high contrast to his self-doubts. So interviews with private details of his life and thinking are interrupted by red ›self-doubt-sides‹ which continue in smaller size as a ›doubt-line‹ throughout the book and maintain a selfdiscribtion. The book is about a person, who is really concerned with himself and is caught in his own univers as shown on the cover – but that was only my point of view at this time – it may has changed or never bin so either.
